Dove ("the App") is a daily prayer reminder application for iOS. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This App is designed to store your personal preferences entirely on your device and does not operate a backend server or user database.

Information We Collect

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

When you use the App, the following information is saved only on your device using local storage (AsyncStorage):

Your first name
Your faith practice preferences
Your selected prayer topics
Your personal goals
Your alarm reminder settings (time and weekdays)

This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

Information Collected via Third-Party Services

RevenueCat

If you choose to purchase a subscription, the App uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect:

Purchase transaction history
Device identifiers
App version and platform information

This data is processed by RevenueCat solely to verify and manage your subscription entitlements. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

Apple

All subscription payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple's privacy policy governs how they handle your payment and account information. We do not have access to your payment details.

Notifications

The App may send local push notifications to remind you of your prayer times. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external servers or data transmission.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as described under RevenueCat and Apple above, which are necessary solely for subscription processing.

Data Retention and Deletion

All locally stored data (name, preferences, alarm settings) can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the App from your device. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored data.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
